This tool detects whether your image already has a transparent background, and if it doesn't, removes a solid or near-flat-color background and makes it transparent. It works best on logos, product photos, and graphics on a plain background — click anywhere on the preview to pick the exact color to remove, or let it guess from the corners, then adjust the tolerance slider until the edges look right. It isn't a full photo background remover: a busy, multi-color background (like a person standing in a room) needs a different kind of tool than color-based removal can do. Most files finish entirely on your device; if your browser can't process it, the file is automatically uploaded and finished on our servers instead. Files are limited to 25MB when that happens, and are deleted automatically after processing.
